Public Accounting Audit Manager Position Available In Onondaga, New York

Job Description:

A top accounting firm is adding an Audit Manager to the New Yorkoffice. This firm has a wide variety of clientele within manydifferent industries such as, real estate, manufacturing,government, Not-for-Profit. The firm offers flexible schedules, topcompensation and benefits packages, as well as a business casualwork environment. The right candidate will have a minimum of 5years of external audit with a public firm, CPA, experience leadingengagements and teams, be a self-driven person, with a deeptechnical comprehension along with exceptional interpersonal skillsto lead staff and cultivate long lasting relationships withclients. This is a very unique opportunity for an Audit Manager asit requires very little travel!

Essential Functions:

Supervise,complete, and review multiple audit programs simultaneouslySupervise staff on multiple concurrent engagements Review andassess completion of audits Coordinate with clients and the firm totake necessary action on audit findings Ensure deliverables, andwork papers are clear, concise, well written, and conform with firmstandards and professional requirements Actively participate indeveloping audit department training, methodology, and resourcesPrioritize and manage multiple engagements to meet schedule andbudget requirements

Qualifications:

CPA with 7 years of experiencein public accounting conducting external audits Valid CPA requiredStrong interpersonal skills with the proven ability to manage anddevelop staff Impeccable oral and written communication skillsStrong background with private and publicly traded companies, FCCand/or HUD experience a plus
