The Audit Manager will oversee and manage audit staff, ensuring compliance with applicable standards and regulations. This role is crucial in maintaining the integrity of financial reporting and risk management within the organization. Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage audit engagements from planning through to completion, ensuring the quality of the work meets the firm’s standards.
Review audit reports and financial statements to ensure compliance with GAAP and other applicable standards.
Develop and implement audit plans and strategies that align with the organization’s objectives.
Mentor and train junior audit staff, providing guidance and fostering professional development.
Identify areas for improvement in financial and operational processes and communicate recommendations to management.
Liaise with clients to ensure their needs are met and provide expert advice on audit-related matters.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required.
Proven experience as an Audit Manager or similar role in audit and compliance.
Strong knowledge of GAAP and auditing standards.
