Salary:

$65,000 – $85,000 per year Abit about us: A certified public accounting firm of approximately120 professionals with offices in Pennsylvania, New York, Maryland,Massachusetts and Connecticut. Our clients are located in elevenstates and operate primarily in the employee benefit plan andlabor/membership organization industries. Why join us? No more 80 hour weeks. In a normal year, it is 50hour weeks Jan – March; then normal 40 hour workweeks the rest ofthe year. Opportunity to work to change the culture; joincommittees from day 1; No sales pushing to gain other clients JobDetails Obtains and documents a basic understanding of clients’internal control policies and procedures; tests operatingeffectiveness. Completes audit work papers and performs audittesting procedures on audit areas fundamental to the financialstatements. Assists the manager in preparing financial statementsincluding required footnotes and supplemental schedules. Helpdevelop audit plans and audit work paper templates (in coordinationwith audit manager). Execute audit tests (internal control andsubstantive) using approved audit plans and standardized audit workpaper templates. Review audit work papers completed by staff priorto submission to audit manager. Help troubleshoot potentialexceptions (i.e. obtain additional documentation/clarification tosupport/refute potential exceptions noted during field worktesting). Interested in hearing more?
