Job Description

Staff/Senior Auditor Specialty Audit Services, LLC Philadelphia County, PA • Remote Specialty Audit Services, LLC (“SAS”), is a forensic auditing firm that provides consulting services exclusively to state governments that involves specialized accounting skills. Individuals will be required to gather and analyze large amounts of data and utilize excel/access functionality. Auditors will draft examination related documents and assist the Managers with the day-to-day tasks of each audit. As a member of the audit engagement team, you will participate in exam planning, meetings with large public and private companies, conference calls, and in some cases, be responsible for direct contact with the company under audit. Auditors will also assist in preparing audit deliverables. This position comes with significant opportunity for advancement and the ability to learn a very interesting area of accounting/auditing/law. College degree in accounting, finance, or related field is required. Travel within the United States will be minimally required. Applicants should be legally permitted to work in the United States.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance with 0-5 years’ experience

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS

Developed knowledge and understanding of accounting and auditing Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Ability to communicate with all levels including co-workers, field staff, and management Effective interpersonal skills Able to prioritize multiple projects Detail oriented; organized Work well under pressure, meeting deadlines consistently Able to work independently with minimal supervision Computer skills: A sophisticated user of the Microsoft suite of products
