Our Assurance Practice:

MBW Assurance provides audit and attestation services to support our client’s financial reporting requirements. We assist with the preparation of financial statements as well as advise on important technical accounting and financial reporting matters. Helping our clients use their financial statements to manage their business, increase their profitability, and evaluate strategic business decisions is an important part of our service offerings. MBW Assurance also advises clients on strategic business transactions, such as M&A, divestitures, refinancing and restructurings, share-based compensation arrangements, and process improvements.

Responsibilities:

Plan, supervise, and lead engagements within budget and deadline Train, mentor, and manage staff Foster a teamwork environment to deliver optimized services to the client Grow assurance practice firm-wide Provide exceptional quality and timely service that contributes to the long-term success of our client Build client relationships and look for opportunities to provide additional services Participate in professional, civic, and business networks to expand and develop business opportunities Continually build and improve on technical knowledge and business acumen Assist partners in assigned administrative functions of the firm.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (Master’s preferred) CPA 4+ years of recent public accounting experience in assurance and the responsibilities listed for this position Well-rounded knowledge of accounting principles Knowledge of Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS) Professional, strong communication and client relations skills Excellent organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills Ability to support and work in a team environment Limited overnight travel.
