Body Shop Estimator 3.1 3.1 out of 5 stars Waterville, ME Central Maine Motors Auto Group is seeking an Experienced Body Shop Estimator to join our Collision Center. This is an exciting time and opportunity to be part of a generation family-owned business that is continually expanding and investing in our employees and community. Our intent is to have Central Maine Motors become the premier certified Collision Center in the area. We will be looking toward multiple OEM certifications in the near future which will mean advanced training, tools and staffing accordingly. This position has a weekly salary and monthly commissions based on gross profit.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/TYPICAL DUTIES
Exceptional Customer Care is essential and expected. We want to make sure that we understand our customers’ circumstances, problems, and expectations while taking the necessary time to educate the consumer on their options. Vehicle estimation by OEM standards. Examine damaged vehicles to determine the extent of structural, body, mechanical, electrical, or interior damage. Write proper estimates based on proven industry standards making sure to document all non-included procedures. Work with insurance companies providing well documented estimates, photos and OEM statements to assure quick turnaround on our behalf. Assist and instruct customers regarding vehicle rental, towing, and any other customer issues as needed. Review vehicle and final bills with customer prior to delivery as part of total quality control. Good communication is paramount – whether it be with the insurance company, the consumer or your fellow co-workers. You must be a ‘follow through’ type of person.
