Role:

We’re looking for a driven, detail-oriented Storm Damage Claims Inspector to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll inspect homes for storm-related damage, helping turn inactive insurance files into active, recoverable claims. Working closely with our internal B2B reps and legal partners, you’ll document exterior and interior property conditions, sketch and measure impacted areas and build solid cases for homeowners seeking fair coverage.

Responsibilities:

Conduct detailed inspections of storm-damaged homes, identifying wind, hail, and water-related impacts Sketch and measure roofs, rooms, and structural features to support supplement and legal scopes Access and walk residential roofs with pitches of 6/12 and greater, including steep and challenging roof slopes Climb extension ladders up to 32 feet to inspect multi-story homes and elevated rooflines Capture clear, comprehensive documentation including photos, videos, and condition reports Assess property condition, material age, and damage severity for supplement and claim accuracy Prepare inspection packets to support our legal partners and Assignment of Benefits (AOB) readiness Coordinate with internal B2B reps to prioritize inspection needs on referred files Collaborate with supplementing and estimating teams to support file conversion Maintain professionalism and safety during all homeowner visits

Requirements:

Prior experience in storm inspections, roofing, restoration, or insurance claims Comfortable walking steep-pitched roofs (6/12 and higher) and climbing tall ladders Familiarity with roof structures, materials, and storm-related damage indicators Skilled in measuring, sketching, and photographic documentation Able to work independently and manage field schedules with minimal supervision Strong communication skills and professionalism in homeowner interactions Familiarity with AOB and supplementing processes preferred Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required

Compensation & Territory:

Total compensation: $52,000 – $80,000 annually (base + performance-based bonuses) Work territory: Within a 45-minute radius of our St. Peters, MO office (1000 Mid Rivers Mall Dr, St. Peters, MO 63376), covering most of the St. Louis Metro area, St. Charles County, Lincoln County, and nearby communities

Work Schedule:
