Job Description
SNI Companies is looking for a Retail Branch Manager to support our client in the Fleming Island, FL area. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of branch manager or related experience. The Retail Branch Manager is responsible for driving branch growth and profitability while ensuring exceptional member service and efficient operations. This role oversees the daily management of a full-service branch, including operational functions, lending, product sales, member relations, and security. The manager actively represents the organization within the community, builds and nurtures business relationships, fosters a sales and service-oriented culture through coaching and team motivation, and is accountable for meeting both individual and branch performance goals-all while upholding a high standard of member service.
Responsibilities:
Provide strong leadership to branch staff through clear goal setting, effective delegation, and open communication. Support employee development by conducting regular staff meetings, one-on-one coaching sessions, formal performance observations, and timely performance evaluations to help achieve both individual and branch objectives. Maintain a thorough understanding of products and services to accurately assess member needs. Serve as a role model by educating and recommending appropriate solutions to members while ensuring these offerings are effectively promoted. Oversee and drive monthly referral activity, utilizing cross-selling strategies to meet the branch’s goals for growth and profitability. Focus on acquiring new business while expanding and retaining existing member relationships. Build rapport with retail customers to encourage membership and engage store associates to generate quality referrals from within and beyond the store environment. Manage all branch operations, including daily balancing, identifying and resolving discrepancies, enforcing security protocols, maintaining security systems, addressing facility concerns, ensuring proper opening/closing procedures, and completing monthly audits on schedule. Ensure strict compliance with regulatory requirements, including the Bank Secrecy Act, Office of Foreign Assets Control, and Customer Identification Program. Stay informed on industry changes and consistently follow all applicable rules, regulations, policies, and procedures. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
2+ years of Branch Manager or related experience required Prior bank/credit union experience preferred Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred Excellent leadership abilities Strong customer service attitude, good interpersonal skills, strong researcher and problem-solver Must be able to pass background check and drug test
