: The Branch Manager is responsible for effective and profitable management of personnel, inventory and customer service. Working with Regional Managers and sales representatives to establish and meet sales goals, in addition to hiring, developing, and training personnel. Pre-employment screening is required.
Responsibilities Include:
Identifying and generating customers.
Distribution and sales.
Inventory control.
Employee motivation, training, and development.
Delivery scheduling.
Requirements Include:
Hands-on management experience desired.
Strong communication skills are a must.
Complete knowledge of heating and cooling systems.
Knowledge of Accounting including, but not limited to, General Ledgers, ProfitLoss Statements, and Gross Profit.
Ability to perform mathematical computations, including but not limited to basic math, Manual J, and calculations to determine equipment size needed by customers.
Knowledge of material handling equipment to safely move products weighing more than 70 pounds.
Valid driver’s license, safe driving record; ability to operate manual transmission if applicable.
Work Environment:
Fast-paced environment where frequent interruptions may occur. Requires frequent bending, climbing, movement and lifting during physical loadingunloading of trucks and when stocking products. The employee is occasionally exposed to extreme cold and extreme heat. The work schedule is typically Monday through Friday and some Saturday (half day). This is a safety sensitive position.
