Incollaboration with, and under the guidance of, the Branch Manager,you will develop and implement a comprehensive local business planfocused on growth of market share and client assets. As a branchleader, you will coach a driven team of branch professionals,attending to performance management and employee engagement. Inmore than 300 branch offices in 45 U.S. states, you’ll find BranchManagers leading and coaching their teams as they work directlywith our clients to achieve their financial goals. As an ABM, youare on a direct path to become a Branch Manager, a critical leaderrole within our Investor Services organization, which isresponsible for helping individuals and families with theirfinancial goals, including retirement planning, charitable giving,estate planning, active investing or managing banking and lendingneeds. Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalentwork-related experience
- A valid and active Series 7 licenserequired
- A valid and active Series 66 (63/65) license required(may be obtained within a 90 day condition of employment)
- A validand active Series 9/10 (8) license required (may be obtained withina 90 day condition of employment)
- Since this is a developmentrole, those that are hired into his position need to be flexible torelocate across the network when a manager role becomes available.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years in the financialservices industry with leadership experience preferred
- Ability toprovide ongoing employee coaching, development, and recognition
- Demonstrated business development experience with a strong drivefor results
- Passion to focus on retention and development of toptalent through coaching, performance management, and employeeengagement.
- Openness to build and deepen relationships withclients, within the community and within Schwab to achieve desiredresults
- A valid and active Life and Health Insurance license (maybe obtained within a 120 day condition of employment)
- CFP®designation is preferred
- Strong brokerage and industry knowledgeIn addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible forbonus or incentive opportunities.
