Job Summary:

This role focuses on delivering high-quality, detail-oriented work while ensuring operational efficiency and adherence to established standards, guidelines, and procedures. The Branch Manager is responsible for maintaining a stable and structured work environment where processes are followed consistently, and employees are effectively managed and coached. A strong emphasis is placed on accuracy, efficiency, and methodical decision-making within clearly defined policies. The Branch Manager fosters a culture of accountability, providing structured training and supportive leadership to develop a knowledgeable and high-performing team. This position requires a balance of technical expertise, analytical thinking, and leadership skills to ensure smooth branch operations, profitability, and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Operations & Profitability Ensure branch operations align with company goals and maintain profitability. Oversee inventory management and asset maintenance, including vehicles, forklifts, wire machines, and facility upkeep. Collaborate with sales and warehouse teams to coordinate special deliveries and order fulfillment. Support other branch managers or credit managers as needed. Leadership & Team Management Recruit, hire, and onboard new employees by reviewing resumes and conducting interviews. Provide coaching, mentorship, and performance evaluations to ensure accountability and efficiency. Assist employees with daily tasks and problem-solving when necessary. Customer & Sales Support Assist sales teams with bids, order management, and client interactions. Handle customer inquiries via phone and in-person visits, ensuring excellent customer service. Analyze electrical plans, power schedules, and fixture schedules as needed. Administrative & Compliance Duties Monitor income statements and financial reports to maintain operational efficiency. Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. Perform additional duties as assigned by the department manager or leadership team.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Strong leadership and team management abilities. Excellent multitasking and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Excel, Eclipse, Solar, and PDF editing software preferred. Strong knowledge of income statements and personnel management. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Exceptional customer service and communication skills.

Education & Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management (preferred). 5-10 years of management experience (required). Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. No history of drug or alcohol abuse.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods. Capable of climbing, grasping, reaching, and crouching. Ability to lift, push, or carry 50 lbs. or more. Strong verbal and listening skills for effective communication.
