This position is responsible for tactical planning, coaching and accountability for a needs-based sales program along with consistently delivering a differentiated client experience. This position requires proven sales coaching, people development, community engagement and change management experience in a goal oriented environment. How You Will Make an Impact Executes strategic and tactical plans for an assigned geography to ensure that all growth, productivity and customer experience and goals are achieved for all assigned locations. Provides guidance, leadership and accountability to Branch Managers, and other Branch teammates on defined sales and service processes and standards. In addition, this position is responsible for developing skills and observation coaching of branch staff and direct reports. Recruits, selects, onboards and develops assigned staff; including regular performance observations and coaching. Responsible for maintaining adequate staffing levels to meet clients’ needs and provide service excellence. Reports directly to a Division President with indirect reporting to local market leadership along with the Branch Banking Strategy and Sales Group in Community Banking for strategic guidance, performance and execution. Sets clear expectations through regular branch visits, structured calls and meetings. Responsible for engaging with teammates and customers while visiting assigned locations. Motivates and provides focus for all teammates on sales campaigns and needs of the organization. This includes celebrating achievements and cross-pollinating ideas and best practices. Implements sales management protocols for all branch teammates, including individual and branch goal setting; activity observations; monitoring sales and productivity results; leading calling activities and standards. Actively partners with other teammates to establish a team-oriented environment within the local market. Facilitates referrals and introductions of customers to other business lines when appropriate. Supports Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) activities and standards. Encourages, participates and monitors CRA compliance efforts through business and community development efforts. Receives and actively resolves routine and/or challenging customer issues and inquiries. Responsible for adherence to all operational and compliance standards. Partners closely with operations, audit and compliance colleagues.
