The Floating Branch Manager is responsible for the overall operations and goals of our floating employees. They directly provide support and training to all branch staff as needed and strategically create and manage the floater schedule to optimize cost and efficiency for the credit union. They travel to and understand the lending and deposit product goals, service needs, training support, and operational procedures of each branch in their territory. This Floating Branch Manager will primarily cover the Monroe, Jackson, Lake Charles, Sulphur, St. Landry, St. Jules, Alexandria, Pineville, and Prairieville branches.
A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A BRANCH MANAGER INCLUDES
Providing strong leadership and development to the team within their Assist members with maintenance requests, opening and closing of accounts, evaluating needs and recommending loan options. Assume the responsibilities of branch leadership in their absence. Offering financial solutions to members. Complete loan applications and close/disburse all types of consumer loans. Evaluate the job performance of the floating staff and provide input on the performance of branch retail staff to ensure quality of work and service to members. Monitor assigned branch activity, including number of transactions, volume, teller errors, loan volume, teller and loan personal sales, new accounts, and overtime. Promote and cross-sell all products and services. Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
BRANCH MANAGER SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE
4-year college degree in Business Administration, Finance, or another business-related field Additional experience may be considered in lieu of meeting education requirements 5 years of experience including branch operations and a combination of experience in member service, lending, deposits, and teller duties. All candidates must be eligible to be licensed to sell all necessary insurance products. Prior supervisory experience is required. Must be able to travel between assigned branches. Excellent oral, written, and telephone communication skills. Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and member service skills.

Work Schedule Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm Travel Frequent travel is required for this position. Work Site Location Work will be performed at our Monroe, Jackson, Lake Charles, Sulphur, St. Landry, St. Jules, Alexandria, Pineville, and Prairieville branches.
