Job Description

The Branch Supervisor will assist with managing overall operations of an HRCU branch office. Provides direction, training, and oversight to all branch staff ensuring the highest quality of service to members, maximum productivity, and attainment of sales goals while maintaining compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and policies. Some of the duties and responsibilities include:

Member Service:

The role involves explaining products and services to both existing and potential members in order to generate additional business and achieve branch sales and service goals. This includes educating members through interviews to identify their financial needs and recommending appropriate credit union solutions. It also requires resolving account-related concerns raised by members. A comprehensive understanding of all HRCU policies, procedures, and operating systems is essential to complete member transactions effectively. Additionally, the role includes conducting loan interviews, reviewing credit histories, and making sound decisions regarding applicants’ creditworthiness. Ensure that the staff is highly motivated and well-trained, with a comprehensive understanding of all products and services offered by the credit union. Encourage team members to actively promote these products and services. Maintain effective employee relations by addressing any internal issues or concerns swiftly and harmoniously. Guide branch staff towards achieving operational efficiency while adhering to credit union policies and procedures. Report findings and areas for improvement to the branch manager. Foster a positive culture within the department through leading by example. Oversee the branch office in the absence of the branch manager or in collaboration with them. Maintains proficiency in all branch roles and is ready to step into any position essential for the branch’s operations. Takes on a leadership role during emergencies. Branch Supervisors are responsible for covering in any branch managers absence.

Business Development & Community Involvement:

Be a visible presence in the local community. Promoting the credit union through active participation in business, community events and activities.

Requirements:

Prior banking experience required.

Experience:

Two years to five years of similar or related experience. Prior supervisory experience required.

Education:
