Monarch Electric Company, An affiliate of USESI, is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Branch Leader. This position will be located in our Ashbury Park, NJ location.

Function:

The Assistant Branch Manager provides leadership and operational management for branch employees, driving sales growth, profitability, and staff development. This role ensures efficient branch operations, exceptional customer service, and alignment with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage daily branch operations alongside the Branch Manager
Mentor, train, and develop staff to enhance performance and growth
Assist in setting and meeting financial and operational goals
Deliver exceptional service in person and over the phone
Support order processing, project pricing, and customer quotes
Drive counter sales and expand the customer base
Oversee inventory management, warehouse operations, and branch opening/closing
Implement process improvements to boost efficiency and satisfaction
Collaborate with leadership to execute strategic plans and initiatives
Generate and present performance reports to the Branch Manager

Skills & Qualifications:

Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building abilities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and ERP systems such as Eclipse
Strategic thinker with strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Dependable, adaptable, and able to work independently or in a team setting
Customer-focused with a high degree of professionalism
Prior supervisory experience, ideally in the electrical wholesale industry
Inside sales or branch operations experience is required
Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field strongly preferred; equivalent work experience will be considered
Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and carrying items as needed
