Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Commercial Truck Leasing Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the profitability of the TransEdge-owned fleet of lease and rental trucks and managing customer relationships. Responsibilities include contacting prospective and existing customers within your assigned territory to build relationships with decision makers while meeting monthly sales activity goals. You will collaborate with departments across the dealership to deepen customer relationships, conduct facility tours and vehicle demonstrations, develop proper equipment specifications, and develop and present sales proposals to prospects. Key Responsibilities:
Prospect new customers and manage assigned accounts Build relationships with decision maker(s) at prospective customer locations Develop monthly sales activity goals, including overall fleet growth and maintain diligent customer engagement records Conduct facility tours and vehicle demonstrations Develop proper equipment specification for customer opportunities Develop and present sales proposals selling the full power of the TransEdge dealership to prospects Develop operational strategy to mitigate fleet running costs and actively reduce expenses Create target lists, participate in sales blitzes, and pursue prospective business within assigned territory Develop detailed customer target lists and sales strategy reports for management Oversee leasing fleet compliance activities, including IFTA reporting, Apportioned Registration, HUT, and Insurance requirements Lead all lease fleet activities, including vehicle check-in, rebilling damage, obtaining fuel receipts, and processing new customer applications Develop strategy to manage off-lease vehicles and reduce loss exposure to TransEdge profit and loss statement Maintain a close relationship with all departments, specifically the Service team, to proactively manage fleet maintenance
Qualifications:
Three or more years of direct lease sales experience preferred Familiar with heavy duty truck specifications including legal, performance, and application criteria Comfortable with cold call solicitation and customer engagement activities Working knowledge of the Leasing profit and loss statement Proficient with computer programs and MS Office, and CRM platforms Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, effective time management and analytical skills Valid driver’s license TransEdge Truck Centers is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
