Nazareth Office 3.4 3.4 out of 5 stars 44 S Broad St, Nazareth, PA 18064 General Responsibilities Responsible for managing the Retail Branch Office in order to meet the financial services needs of customers in the assigned community market area; ensuring the office’s compliance with operating policies and procedures and outside regulatory requirements; organizing the work and activities of the Retail Branch Office in order to achieve established goals; directly supervising assigned personnel; communicating with appropriate management and staff personnel; providing periodic reports; performing all of the duties of an Assistant Retail Branch Manager and Universal Banker. Essential Duties Manages the Retail Branch Office in order to meet the financial services needs of customers in the assigned community market area as follows: Provides a passionate and engaging experience to all customers, both internal and external, and at all touchpoints, through committed execution of the Fidelity Model Experience and commitment to the Core Values of the organization; creates and sustains an environment that promotes loyalty, commitment and retention. Works with management in establishing growth, sales, and profit objectives for the office; provides input to these objectives and to the manner in which performance will be measured and controlled. Makes “outside” sales and customer service calls on present and prospective customers within the office’s market area. Ensures that the branch office is properly staffed and that the staff is trained to meet customer service needs as well as sales objectives. Ensures that all retail sales initiatives are carried out in a positive and timely manner. Makes certain that all office operations are performed in accordance with established Bank policies and procedures, either directly or through appropriate supervisor, e.g., office balancing, control of vault cash, etc. Provides for the proper security, maintenance, and cleanliness of the office; supervises the opening and closing of the building and vault; makes necessary provisions for the securing and accounting of negotiable papers. In consultation with the sales staff, establishes specific sales and customer service goals for each sales representative. Makes certain that all customer service personnel are adequately trained both with respect to product knowledge and selling techniques. Ensures that all sales and customer service reporting information is provided on a timely basis. Conducts regularly scheduled (at least monthly) sales and customer service meetings. Serves as an active member of the office customer service team by performing all of the duties of a Universal Banker and, as such, is held accountable for sales performance. Actively participates in the community in a manner that reflects favorably on the Bank. Assists in the development of the annual budget for the office and adheres to budget parameters. Abides by the current laws and organizational policies and procedures designed and implemented to promote an environment which is free of harassment and other forms of illegal discriminatory behavior in the work place. Ensures understanding of the company’s policies and procedures pertaining to compliance. Cooperate with, participate in, and support the adherence to all internal policies, procedures, and practices in support of risk management and overall safety and soundness and the Bank’s compliance with all regulatory requirements, e.g. HMDA Community Reinvestment Act (CRA), Equal Credit Opportunity Act, etc. Completes all necessary compliance training provided. Implements the necessary internal controls and written compliance procedures within the department and responding to compliance inquires; expected to ensure the branch staff has gained all the knowledge and understanding of regulations pertinent to the department, providing recommendations as a means of improving compliance controls, conducting self-assessments and creating reports if necessary to document compliance; expected to ensure that branch staff gains the appropriate training to remain up-to-date on compliance regulations and implement regulatory changes on a timely basis. Managers are responsible for reviewing compliance examinations, testing and self-assessment findings and taking corrective action on any deficiencies noted. Organizes the work and activities of the Branch Sales Office in order to achieve established goals; monitors the efficiency and performance of the office versus established standards. Directly supervises assigned personnel as follows: Assists in the selection of new personnel as appropriate. Makes provisions for the proper orientation and training of new personnel. Reviews employee performance throughout the probationary period and on a regularly scheduled basis thereafter. Organizes, schedules, and distributes work among assigned personnel. Keeps personnel informed of pertinent policies and procedures affecting the office and/or their jobs; creates an atmosphere in which upward communication from employees is encouraged. Administers personnel policies and procedures as established by Bank policy. Communicates with the Retail Sales Manager, other office managers, and appropriate staff personnel in order to integrate goals and activities. Provides periodic reports to the Retail Sales Manager and other groups as required throughout the Bank. Completes all necessary training for his/her job function; engages in opportunities for enhancing knowledge of the position and pursuing career development. Ancillary Duties Performs tasks which are supportive in nature to the essential functions of the job, but which may be altered or re-designed depending upon individual circumstances. Basic Qualifications Education/Training:

B.S. or B.A. degree normally required; specialized bank sales and product education and training. Skill(s): Proficient reading, writing, grammar, and mathematics skills; proficient interpersonal relations, communicative, and sales skills; demonstrated management, supervisory, and coaching skills sufficient to manage a staff of less (usually) than four (4) employees; a thorough knowledge of the features and benefits of all bank retail products and services; proficient knowledge of bank operating policies and procedures; proficient PC skills; visual and auditory skills; valid driver’s license.

Experience:

A minimum of seven (7) years’ related experience normally required.
