The bank is currently seeking a Branch Manager for its downtown Charleston branch.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS A
high school diploma or GED. At least 2 years of professional banking experience, including at least one year with supervisory responsibilities.

PRIMARY JOB DUTIES
Utilize critical thinking and attention to detail to identify potential fraud and take appropriate loss prevention action. Work as a team player to pursue optimal branch efficiency. Accurately and efficiently process bank transactions, while following policies and procedures to minimize risk. Appropriately judge when work speed or quality is most important in a fast paced environment. Perform manager overrides for Universal Bankers. Oversee routine branch procedures, regulatory controls, and security checks. Oversee preparation of audit responses, as requested. Ensure adequate quantity of water and office supply levels for the branch. Biweekly review and approval of direct reports’ timecards and effective management of paid time off requests PTO requests to ensure adequate staff coverage as well as team compliance with annual mandatory time off requirements. Manage the job performance of the Universal Bankers (Teller/CSR) and the Assistant Branch Manager, to include: identification of skills gaps requiring additional training and/or 1:1 coaching, completion of 90 Day Evaluations for new hires/recent position transfers, completion of annual performance evaluations, and taking prompt corrective action as necessary. Assist with Teller/CSR duties in the event of a temporary unavoidable staff shortage. Preserve the bank’s community culture by actively engaging with all customers and providing excellent customer service.
