DESCRIPTION

The Branch Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our Morristown, TN location while providing exceptional leadership, customer service, and organization to our local farmers, producers, and employees. This role ensures the profitability of all departments and maintains a clean, safe, and efficient work environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Supervise, coordinate, and oversee activities of all departments and staff at the branch location.
  • Assign duties, schedule work hours, breaks, and vacations for employees.
  • Train associates on store policies, procedures, and job responsibilities.
  • Establish sales quotas and goals in collaboration with corporate department coordinators and local department managers.
  • Support sales distribution logistics in coordination with other Branch Managers and Department Coordinators.
  • Develop training and growth programs for team members.
  • Analyze sales statistics to determine sales potential and inventory needs.
  • Order supplies, merchandise, and equipment.
  • Ensure merchandise is correctly priced and displayed.
  • Recommend product additions or removals based on customer demand.
  • Address customer concerns and build relationships with co-op members.
  • Assist sales associates in achieving sales goals.
  • Maintain facility safety, quality, and appearance to the highest standards.
  • Manage personnel issues and conduct annual performance reviews.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQURIEMENTS
  • Bachelor’s or associate’s degree in Ag Business, Business Operations, or a related field.
  • Four to six years of relevant experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge of agricultural inputs and crop production systems.
  • Proficiency with computer databases, point-of-sale systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Ability to freely move around the facility and grounds.
  • Ability to repeatedly bend, crouch, kneel, stand, reach, grasp, crawl, walk, lift, push, pull, or climb.
  • Ability to operate all equipment safely and properly.
  • Ability to lift up-to 50 pounds.
