Branch General Manager TAS Environmental Services, LP – Emergency Response Services & Environmental Solutions ready to respond wherever, whenever, every time. Today, it is essential for every business and municipality to have a “go-to” vendor for environmental solutions, from industrial cleaning services to emergency response services, to hazardous waste transportation and box rentals. We are prepared 24/7 and every day of the year. We are hiring a Branch General Manager at the Nashville office who will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all operations of the branch. The Branch General Manager provides overall direction and guidance to the operational activities for the assigned location. Duties include, but are not limited to the following:

RESPONSIBILITIES

Manages business with full Profit and Loss accountability. Has the ability to read financial reports and has the business acumen to utilize the information to make strategic decisions in order to maximize profitability and sustainability Manage the day-to-day activities for assigned office by directing and coordinating activities consistent with established goals, objectives, and policies Implement programs to ensure attainment of business plan for growth and profit including all accounting process from quote to cash collections for area of responsibility Solutions-oriented individual; problem solves with profitability in mind Works towards the best interest of Customer Base; Customer-centric thinker Provide direction and structure for operating units Manages and develops new business opportunities and strategies Travels to meet with prospective clients, customers, local service centers and attend company meetings, as required Develop and train staff Able to lead an emergency response team Oversee major projects to ensure that the work is performed in accordance with company and customer requirements and expectations Oversee various environmental field tasks, data collection, data analysis, sampling and report writing Works cooperatively with Business Development Team Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Computer Skills :

Experience with Microsoft Office products and some ability to adapt to other computer software.

EDUCATION REQUIRMENTS

Bachelor’s Degree in chemistry, environmental science or related fields preferred. 7-10 years performing all aspects of Emergency Spill Response. Working knowledge of Environmental, Health and Safety standards for Industrial Services sector – leads with Safety as first thought. Relevant industry experience desirable. HAZWOPER and Confined Space certifications. CDL license preferred.

PHYSICAL/ MENTAL REQUIREMENTS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling and climbing at times. The employee must frequently lift or move items up to 60 pounds. Must be able to frequently climb stairs and ladders. May occasionally deal with heights.

Excellent interpersonal skills:

ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with staff, employees and managers. Effective conflict resolution abilities. Ability to perform a variety of tasks on wet or slippery work surfaces. Ability to present facts and recommendations effectively in oral and written form. Ability to read, write and do mathematics. Consist of both office setting and physical jobsite. Able to work in confined spaces when needed.
