Accounting Clerk Position Available In Dale, Alabama

The Allied Accounting Clerk assists in overseeing application of bi-monthly Allied statements and will assist service centers with Allied related problems. Team environment. This position will assist with paperwork requests, assist with applying payments, research payments when needed, create invoices for Alaska and collections for Allied.

Essential Functions and Duties:

• Reconcile bi-monthly Allied statements
• Audit all shipments paid on statements
• Work Allied collections lists
• Work Allied due from shippers’ collections . Assist with refunds
• Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Knowledge of company software
• Knowledge of accounting software
• Knowledge of Allied requirements and processes
• Interpersonal communication, organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to multitask, and basic math skills
• Ability to operate computer & keyboard
• Knowledge of general bookkeeping procedures
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite specifically
