The ideal candidate will be open minded to learning how and why the Company performs accounts payable duties. Responsibilities Manage and process bills and invoices to ensure timely payments Verify invoice accuracy and code invoices for proper entry Reconcile vendor statements Process payments Research & resolve discrepancies General reports 1099 & 1096 Forms Maintain vendor relationships and respond to inquiries regarding payments. Collaborate with other departments to resolve discrepancies and improve processes. Take on new projects as needed Qualifications 3-5 years proven experience as an Accounts Payable Clerk or similar role. Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes and procedures. Excellent Excel experience. Ability to perform account reconciliation effectively. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
