Qualified candidates will have experience in different areas of accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general accounting. This candidate must have advanced Excel skills and possess the ability to learn the company’s manufacturing ERP system in a timely manner.
Responsibilities:
Process vendor invoices Work with vendors to resolve issues Verify 3-way match Oversee employee expense reports and ensure acquisition of all receipts and proper GL coding Calculate and pay consumer use tax Act as backup for the Accounts Receivable Specialist Track freight expenses and provide monthly freight accrual Oversee temporary employee pay Perform various account reconciliations Assist with month end closing Process journal entries Provide assistance as required in all areas of the accounting department Light executive assistant duties and responsibilities
Requirements:
Preferred Accounting or Finance degree 3+ years experience NetSuite, or similar ERP experience is preferred SAP Concur experience is preferred Strong attention to organization, detail, and accuracy Excellent written and verbal communication skills Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to build Pivot Tables and utilize formulas such as VLOOKUP, IF, etc. Proficiency in
