The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles. This role is crucial for the smooth operation of our financial processes and will involve working closely with other departments to provide timely financial information. Duties Prepare and post journal entries to ensure accurate financial reporting. Manage debits and credits to maintain balanced accounts. Utilize accounting software, specifically Xero, for efficient record-keeping and reporting. Perform general ledger reconciliation to ensure accuracy in financial statements. Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including invoice processing and payment tracking. Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies or areas for improvement. Process payroll accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Perform account reconciliation regularly to maintain the integrity of financial data. Qualifications Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role. Proficiency in accounting software, particularly Xero, is preferred. Strong understanding of journal entries, debits, credits, and general ledger reconciliation. Familiarity with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial reporting. Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while meeting deadlines. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members across departments.
