Accounts Payable Clerk Evergreen Siteworks 3100 Wyndham Industrial Dr, Opelika, AL 36804
Duties/Responsibilities:
Scanning vendor invoices and data entry of vendor invoices into accounting system. Filing paid vendor invoices. Assists with verifying expense reports and reconciling expenses. Assists with payment of vendors, which may include verification of federal ID numbers, reviewing purchase orders, and resolving discrepancies. Assists with maintaining current Certificates of Insurance for vendors. Assists with accounting records and ledgers by reconciling monthly vendor statements and transactions. Other administrative duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Must be reliable and extremely trustworthy. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Excel or related programs. Must be able to learn other accounting software systems/current account software system. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to maintain confidential and meticulous records.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent is required. 2 years of experience preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
