Job Description
Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team on a contract with the potential for a permanent position in Tuskegee, Alabama. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices for the organization.
Responsibilities:
+ Validate, record and send checks, including expediting special handling + Handle administrative tasks for the AP/Finance Department + Ensure compliance with company policies while carrying out daily processes and controls accurately and on time + Provide support during internal and external audits + Open, organize, and distribute department mail daily + Provide support to internal business partners + Manage full-cycle A/P Requirements + Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, especially when interacting with those in the technical and financial backgrounds + 1+ years of prior experience in an A/P role preferred + Working knowledge of Excel spreadsheets and databases + Strong familiarity with journal entries + AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred + Attention to detail and demonstrated ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
