Job Description
Description We are on the lookout for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in HUNTSVILLE, Alabama. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks including processing invoices, check running, maintaining purchase orders and performing additional administrative duties. This role offers an exciting opportunity in the electric industry.
Responsibilities:
- Efficient and accurate processing of customer credit applications
- Keeping customer credit records up-to-date
- Assisting the field team with their requirements
- Undertaking administrative tasks such as ordering supplies and managing the kitchen stock
- Resolving customer inquiries in a timely and effective manner
- Monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate action where necessary
- Utilizing software such as Oracle, QuickBooks, and Microsoft Excel for various tasks
- Maintaining a flexible approach to job duties, including non-accounts payable tasks
- Performing data entry tasks and coding invoices
- Regularly reconciling accounts. Requirements
- Proficiency in Account Reconciliation
- Experience with Accounts Payable (AP)
- Ability to conduct Check Runs
- Knowledge in Coding Invoices
- Excellent Data Entry skills
- Experience in Invoice Processing
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Familiarity with Oracle
- Experience with QuickBooks
