Three Notch Rd, Mobile, AL 36619 Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Clerk to join our admin team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing the company’s financial obligations by processing invoices, ensuring timely payments, and maintaining accurate financial records. This position requires an understanding of accounting principles and proficiency in Sage or Quickbooks accounting software. Duties Process and verify invoices for payment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies. Maintain vendor accounts and resolve discrepancies in billing or payment issues. Prepare and process payments, including checks, ACH transfers, and credit card transactions. Assist in month-end closing activities by reconciling accounts payable reports with the general ledger. Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary documentation for financial reporting. Skills Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel to streamline processes. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data effectively. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Effective communication skills for collaborating with vendors and internal teams.
