Full Charge Bookkeeper Position Available In Mobile, Alabama

Job Description:

Fit Recruiting is seeking a Full Charge Bookkeeper to join aclient in the aviation industry. This role involves keeping thegeneral ledger up to date, ensuring the accuracy of financialinformation, and utilizing Quickbooks for tracking. Pay is in the$45K-$75K range depending on experience.

Responsibilities:

Recordday-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting processEnsure invoices are recorded properly in QuickBooks and allspreadsheets Enter Accounts Payable bills to the correct companyand ensure timely payment Code and enter credit card transactionsmaking sure all all entries are made to the correct company Createintercompany billing, record and pay between companies Ensure theemployees are paid accurately and payroll liabilities are paidcorrectly Prepare and file all payroll tax returns and excise taxreturn Reconcile all bank statements and review financialstatements for miscoding/incorrect classifications

Qualifications:

Exceptional knowledge of GAAP Experience with Excel, QuickBooks,and basic accounting systems Must possess exceptionalcommunication, problem-solving, and time-management skills Musthave 2 or more years of work experience at an accounting firm or asa Full Charge Bookkeeper, or similar Bachelor’s degree inaccounting or related field is desired but not required
