Description
The Administrative Assistant is primarily responsible for assisting the Assistant Vice President and Director level roles in Finance and Supply Chain by performing essential clerical and administrative duties and providing backup and support to the Senior Executive Assistant, as needed. This person demonstrates knowledge and understanding of the Baptist Health System structure and possesses excellent organizational, clerical, and interpersonal skills. The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for directing phone calls, coordinating team calendars, and maintaining courier credit card statements. They will also assist with vendor inquiries and business reviews, data entry into applicable databases and/or spreadsheets, assisting with invoice discrepancy resolution, building interdepartmental relationships, and other Supply Chain administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required.
At least 5 years’ experience in secretarial or administrative support functionality, preferred.
Medical terminology training a plus,
Knowledge of basic office equipment (fax, copier, telephone) and strong computer skills required.
Must possess strong Microsoft Office skills and be proficient with use of MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
