Position Summary Under the supervision of the Accounting Manager – Financials & Trusts, and with direction from other accounting managers, the Accounts Receivable Coordinator will be responsible for analyzing and reconciling outstanding unapplied funds balances across firm-wide client accounts. This role will require an in depth understanding of all stages of the billing and payment cycle in order to identify and implement improved processes. This position will maintain and update the Unapplied Funds Policy, provide reports to Executive Management, and present policy changes to the Finance Committee. This position will work directly with attorneys and clients to reconcile and resolve questions about and payments on accounts. Essential Functions Analyze and research account issues through multiple databases and programs. Identify underlying causes and provide solutions to improve procedures. Update and maintain firm policies impacting unapplied funds and accounts receivable processes. Complete transactions to reconcile outstanding client account balances. Report findings and progress to Firm management. Coordinate with attorneys and clients to resolve account questions and balances. Supervise database payor management. Other duties and tasks as required.

Job Requirements:

Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and/or Finance, preferred. Law Firm experience is a plus. 2-4 years of accounting experience Initiative to improve current processes. Strong analytical and research skills. Ability to problem solve and independently research questions. Take ownership of projects to see through to completion. Ability to organize and analyze large amounts of data with accuracy and attention to detail. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Strong time-management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work to meet changing deadlines. Self-motivation and ability to work with minimal supervision. Ability to interact effectively, respectfully, and cooperatively with people at all organizational levels. Strong client service focus and ability to work effectively in a team environment. Microsoft Office skills and strong Excel skills required with a desire to stay current technologically. Bradley is an equal opportunity employer.
