Full Job Description Overview:
NaphCare has an excellent opportunity for a AR Specialist to join our Corporate Headquarters in Birmingham Al. The AR Specialist will be responsible for managing incoming payments, maintaining customer account records, and supporting overall financial operations. NaphCare partners with correctional facilities to provide proactive, patient-focused healthcare. Responsibilities:
Process and post customer payments accurately and timely. Monitor customer accounts to ensure payments are received on schedule. Generate and send account statements. Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies. Follow up on past due accounts and collections activity. Maintain accurate records and documentation of all AR transactions. Assist with month-end closing and reporting tasks. Collaborate with other departments to support billing accuracy and resolve issues.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred. 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable or general accounting. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively. •This is not a remote position.
