Job Description
Description We are in search of an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in Talladega, Alabama. In this role, you will be focusing on handling customer transactions, keeping precise records, and managing customer inquiries. You will also monitor customer accounts and take necessary action. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity in the government sector for a school for deaf and blind students.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately process transactions related to customer credit applications.
- Keep precise customer credit records.
- Address customer inquiries effectively and promptly.
- Post payments to the appropriate accounts in our system.
- Assist with the generation of invoices in Dynamics.
- Perform account reconciliations as necessary.
- Support the accounts payable team as required.
- Utilize Microsoft Excel to maintain and update spreadsheets.
- Ensure all data entry in Dynamics AX and NextGen software is accurate.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality and adhere to data privacy regulations. Requirements
- Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is required
- Must have experience with Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Demonstrated ability to manage Billing procedures
- Experience with Cash Applications is necessary
- Must have skills in Cash Collections
- Familiarity with Commercial Collections is needed
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must
