Accounting office assistant 2.0 2.0 out of 5 stars Tuscaloosa, AL 35405 Overview We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented cashier clerk to join our team. As the first point of contact for many of our customers, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a positive and efficient experience. This position offers a diverse range of responsibilities, providing opportunities to interact with customers, support office operations and contribute to the overall success of the company’s brand. Responsibilities Assist with daily accounting tasks, including data entry and record maintenance. Organize and file financial documents accurately for easy retrieval.

Provide exceptional customer service:

Greet and assist customers with helpful attitude Efficient payment processing: accurately process cash, check and card payments Trade payables management: enter invoices with care and precision Vehicle inventory management: stock daily, new and used vehicles into our dealer management system (DMS) Dealertrack Office support: assist back office with filing as needed Team collaboration: actively contribute to positive and supportive team environment Experience Previous experience in an office environment is preferred, particularly in roles involving clerical or administrative tasks. Familiarity with accounting principles is a plus but not mandatory. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Proficient in computer applications, including spreadsheet software and accounting tools. Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills are essential for effective communication. Experience as a receptionist or similar role can be beneficial but is not required.
