Job Description
Accounts Payable Specialist Arkansas Talent Group Conway, AR Arkansas Talent Group is working with a healthcare organization in Conway, AR to help them find an Accounts Payable (A/P) Specialist to join their team. This is a newly created position due to growth in the organization. In this role, you will manage the accounts payable process for two companies with multiple locations across the state, ensuring timely and accurate vendor payments and maintaining organized financial records.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and process vendor payments accurately and on time via check, EFT, credit card, or other methods Enter and maintain invoice data in the accounting system Reconcile accounts payable records with vendor and bank statements Maintain organized records of invoices, payments, and related documentation Resolve discrepancies and reconcile vendor statements Respond to vendor inquiries and maintain positive vendor relationships Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and audit requirements Manage W-9 documentation and assist with 1099 filing
Required Qualifications:
Must have Experience with QuickBooks Online 2+ years of experience in Accounts Payable Proven ability to split and classify invoices across entities, departments, or cost centers. Proficiency in Microsoft office suite Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously Excellent organizational and time management skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong communication and interpersonal skills
