As an accounts payable professional at Keith Smith Company, you will interface across several departments and gain critical business acumen. This role is critical for timely and accurate financial statement creation and strong vendor relationships. You will be a part of a team that adds value to the company through analysis and transforming data into information used for business decisions. Receive, record, and process vendor invoices and supporting documentation in an accurate, timely, and organized fashion Process vendor payments timely and resolve any statement discrepancies Respond to vendor inquiries and maintain positive vendor relationships with the company Interface with financial software and MTech Amino inventory software Follow AP related internal controls and best practices Send reports to management as required, supporting accuracy Cover the front desk as needed Contribute to the year-end audit process as needed Reconciling balance sheet accounts at period-end Manage W-9 documentation and assist with 1099 filing Ability to work well with others in a team setting Driven self-starter with efficient time management and organizational skills Critical thinking and problem-solving skills Strong account reconciliation skills Experience in Accounts Payable Experienced with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP and other functions, charts) Strong verbal and written communication skills Experience using or other similar ERP System Keith Smith Company is a Hot Springs based company and offers a competitive benefit package, to include, medical, dental, group life, profit sharing/40l(k) retirement plans (Both Roth & Traditional), paid holidays, and vacations, as well as many voluntary benefit plans.
