Job Description
Bookkeeper (part of Restaurant Brands International) 3.3 3.3 out of 5 stars 200 East Kiehl Avenue, Sherwood, AR 72120 Job Scope; includes maintaining accurate financial records for a business, managing accounts, and preparing financial reports. Handle tasks like recording transactions, reconciling accounts, processing payroll, and assisting with tax-related activities. Key Responsibilities:
Recording Financial Transactions:
This involves accurately entering all financial activities, such as sales, purchases, receipts, and payments, into accounting software or ledgers.
Maintaining General Ledger:
Bookkeepers ensure the accuracy of the general ledger by reconciling accounts and correcting any discrepancies.
Preparing Financial Statements:
They create essential reports like balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements to provide a clear picture of the company’s financial position.
Managing Accounts Payable and Receivable:
This includes tracking invoices, payments, and overdue accounts for both customers and vendors.
Processing Payroll:
Bookkeepers handle the calculation of wages, withholding of taxes, and the issuance of payments to employees.
Reconciling Bank Statements:
They regularly compare bank statements with internal records to identify and resolve any differences. Assisting with
Tax Preparation:
Bookkeepers collaborate with accountants to prepare and file tax returns accurately and on time.
