The ideal candidate will assist in various construction and maintenance tasks, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and to high standards. Requirements:

Follows directions from Senior Technicians / Management 3+ months of experience in roofing, willingness to learn and grow into a Service Technician Installs and repairs roofing under supervision Works with TPO, EPDM, BUR, PVC, Metals and other materials Basic troubleshooting and patchwork Learning knowledge of manufactures roofing specs

Duties :

Roof Installation & Repair Support Assist with the installation of commercial roofing systems (TPO, EPDM, modified bitumen, metal, etc.). Perform basic repairs to leaks, seams, flashing, and penetrations under supervision. Help apply roofing membranes using adhesives, fasteners, or torch methods (if certified). Lay insulation, cover boards, and vapor barriers accurately. Technical Skill Development Learn to interpret blueprints, roof plans, and manufactures specifications. Measure and cut roofing materials precisely to fit designated areas. Assist in sealing, taping, or welding seams (e.g., hot air welding for TPO). Begin operating specialized equipment (e.g., seam rollers, power tools, torches) safely. Site and Safety Compliance Follow OSHA and company safety protocols at all times. Participate in roof safety setups, including anchors, harnesses, and guardrails. Keep the work area clean, organized, and hazard-free. Report unsafe conditions or damaged tools immediately. Material & Tool Management Help receive, move, and stage roofing materials and equipment. Maintain and clean tools and equipment after each use. Keep a basic inventory of supplies used on-site. Teamwork & Communication Take direction from senior technicians and management. Communicate clearly about task progress, challenges, or material needs daily. Cooperate with team members to ensure efficiency and quality. Documentation & Inspection Support Assist with roof inspections, moisture scans, and basic documentation. Help photograph work areas before, during, and after work. Record material usage and job site notes if required.
