The ideal candidate will assist in various construction and maintenance tasks, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and to high standards. This role requires a hands-on approach and the ability to work collaboratively with other technicians on-site. Key Skills /
Requirements:
Comfortable working at heights in outdoor conditions Basic knowledge of roofing materials and safety protocols Ability to provide and use basic hand tools Follows directions from senior technicians Valid Drivers License /
Clean Background Certifications:
Basic Company Safety Policy / OSHA 10 preferred
Job Duties:
Material Handling:
Load, unload, and organize roofing materials, tools, and equipment. Daily truck inventory report and organization of repair materials Deliver materials to the roof using ladders, pulleys, or hoists.
Site Preparation:
Under supervision learn to set up safety barriers, warning lines, and fall protection Clean and prepare work areas before and after roofing work. Be able to recognize safety hazards and report to the
Service Technician Assisting Service Technician:
Cut the roofing materials to size. Apply roofing materials (such as underlayment, insulation, membranes) under supervision.
Cleanup and Maintenance:
Remove old roofing materials and debris from jobsites and dispose of daily at the office Clean tools and maintain job site cleanliness, along with making sure all tools are accounted for and loaded correctly at the end of every service call
Safety Compliance:
Wear and maintain proper safety gear (e.g., harness, gloves, hard hat). Follow safety procedures and assist in setting up fall protection systems. Be able to attend and understand all onsite/offsite safety training provided by the company and or contractors
Basic Repairs and Support Tasks:
Perform basic patching or sealing as directed. Assist with minor roof maintenance under supervision.
Tool Management:

$15.00 – $20.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
