Job Description
Bookkeep/Admin Asst – Part time, M-F 3.2 3.2 out of 5 stars 22 Kreiger Lane, Glastonbury, CT 06033 Construction Company seeking bookkeeper/Admin Asst. Must be comfortable with all bookkeeping phases from data entry through general ledger maintenance and financial statement preparation.
Job duties include:
Recording account payable invoices; Obtaining proper approvals; A/P reporting; cash disbursements; Recording accounts receivables; Receipts including posting receivables, fees, and other transactions; Reconciling member ledgers and general ledger; Bank reconciliations; Month end entries and reconciliations; Preparing financial statements and reports for properties and owners. Payroll data collection and reporting to third party payroll processors; Issuing 1099’s and preparing 1096; Answering phone line, A/R collections, office administration and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Highly knowledgeable in full-charge bookkeeping functions Punctual, reliable, an ability to work independently Excellent communication skills Criminal background check and drug testing required Work is in small office environment, M-F, 30 hours per week.
