The AR Specialist is responsible for providing financial, administrative, and clerical support to the accounting department. This includes completing payments and controlling expenses, plus processing, verifing, and reconciling invoices. To perform this job sussessfully, the AR Specialist must be able to perform each item below.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Keeping track of all invoices and receipts. Creating, maintaining, and verifing invoices, tracking and recording customer purchase orders and processing receipts. Ensure invoices are reviewed, approved, and paid for in a timely and accurate manner. Establish and manintain relationships with essential customers throughout the billing process. Tracking and processing of pre-biling customers. Address/respond to customer inquires. Crosstrain on other accounting departmental duties. Aid the accounting team as needed.

Required Skills and Abilities:

High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Strong emphasis on Excel experience, with the ability to manipulate and update data with ease and accuracy. Detail focused and strong time management/Organizational skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Self-starter with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced enviornment.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree desired. Knowledge of basic accounting principles. Experience in Microsoft Dynamics (Great Plains) preferred. 1-3 years of experience in similar role.

9-5:30

Monday-Friday Pay Rate:

$26.00 to $28.00 per hour. IND-123
