A/R Specialist Position Available In Naugatuck Valley, Connecticut

Job Description:

Nesco Resource is in search of an A/R Specialist for one of ourclients based in Beacon Falls, CT. This is a 3-6 month temporaryassignment with the potential to become permanent. SUMMARY The A/RSpecialist is responsible for providing financial, administrativeand clerical support to the accounting department. This includescompleting payments and controlling expenses, plus processing,verifying and reconciling invoices.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES ANDRESPONSIBILITIES

Keeping track of all invoices and receipts.

Creating, maintaining and verifying invoices, tracking andrecording customer purchase orders and processing receipts.

Responsible for administrative accounting work, cash applicationsand wire transfers. Ensure invoices are reviewed, approved and paidfor in a timely and accurate manner. Establish and maintainrelationships with essential customers throughout the billingprocess. Tracking and processing of pre-billing customers.

Address/respond to customer inquiries. Crosstrain on otheraccounting departmental duties Aid the accounting team as needed.

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree desired. 1-3 years of A/Rexperience. Knowledge of basic accounting principles. Highproficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Strong emphasis onExcel experience, with the ability to manipulate and update datawith ease and accuracy (Pivot tables and VLOOKUP). Experience inMicrosoft Dynamics (Great Plains) preferred. Detail-oriented andpossess strong time management/organization skills. Excellentwritten and verbal communication skills. Self-starter with theability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Pay:
