Accounts Receivable Specialist 3.3 3.3 out of 5 stars 29 Plaine Hill Road, Woodstock, CT 06281 Job Overview This role for a part time Accounts Receivable associate Prepares, posts, verifies, and records customer payments and transactions related to accounts receivable. Creates invoices according to company practices; submits invoices to customers. Maintains and updates customer files, including name or address changes, mergers, or mailing attentions.. Accounts Receivable Responsibilities and Duties Process accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts receivables’ data Prepare bills, invoices and bank deposits Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted. Verify discrepancies by and resolve clients’ billing issues Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting clients Generate financial statements and reports detailing accounts receivable status Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounts Receivable, related field or three years’ experience. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, ERP, and accounting software. Personal characteristics would include detailed oriented, be able to communicate effectively, be able to multi-task, be a quick study, can prioritize workload and effectively work in a team environment. Ability to work under pressure, plan personal workload effectively, and delegate. Education and Experience for Part-time Accounts Receivable role: Bachelor’s Degree in engineering related field or 3+ years of experience utilizing CAD software.
