The Role:

Strategic Finance Associate The Strategic Finance Associate is a newly created position, reporting to the CEO, and created due to the company’s growth and will also directly support their Corporate Finance department. S/he will be a key resource to the CEO in preparing metrics, insights, and analytics. They will also oversee payment management, client invoicing, and some limited bookkeeping support and reporting for the Company’s U.S. entity. The Strategic Finance Associate is a newly created position, reporting to the CEO, and created due to the company’s growth and will also directly support their Corporate Finance department. S/he will be a key resource to the CEO in preparing metrics, insights, and analytics. They will also oversee payment management, client invoicing, and some limited bookkeeping support and reporting for the Company’s U.S. entity.

Ongoing responsibilities will include:

Prepare regular metric report for the CEO to have visibility into key business drivers to help bring clarity to strategic decisions. Support quarterly management reporting process, CEO report preparations, as well as ad- hoc reporting and reconciliation. Generate revenue budget projections. Identify open accounts payable invoices and prepare for payment processing; collate documentation for vendor invoices and credit card transactions; facilitate transaction import into AP subledger. Oversee client invoices, including approving invoices prepared by HQ office. Collate and deliver required documentation (invoices, credit card statements, financial data, etc.) to the external bookkeeper. Prepare and support monthly and quarterly accounts prepared by the bookkeeper. Work with the external bookkeeper to support completion of the annual financial audits and tax filings / return deadlines. Manage employee expense report process (submissions, provide employee assistance, generate quarterly reconciliation, etc.) Oversee finance related compliance matters, including but not limited to census forms, state questionnaires from employment offices. Monitor and ensure the appropriate levels of confidentiality regarding company information. Liaise between U.S. employee payroll queries and external bookkeeper. The chosen candidate will earn a competitive base salary, be eligible for a discretionary performance bonus and will participate in a generous benefits package. S/he will work onsite in downtown Stamford. Candidates must have strong Excel and analytics skills and also possess experience in the areas of strategic analytics, AP/AR, taxes, client invoicing, audit/compliance, etc. Prior experience with Intacct will be viewed favorably
