Payroll / Accounting Specialist We are seeking a detail-orientedPayroll / Accounting Specialist to join our non-profitorganization. This role is responsible for processing multi-statepayroll using Paylocity, ensuring compliance with federal, state,and local regulations. The Payroll Specialist will collaborate withHR and Finance teams to maintain accurate payroll records, resolvediscrepancies, and provide excellent support to employees regardingpayroll matters. Payroll/ AccountingSpecialist:

The Payroll Specialist / Accounting will process andadminister multi-state payroll using Paylocity for all employees,ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax regulations. Maintain andupdate payroll records, including employee earnings, deductions,benefits, and tax withholdings. Ensure timely processing of payrollcycles, including off-cycle payments, garnishments, and otherpayroll adjustments. Generate and send invoices in a timely andaccurate manner Monitor income payments, apply cash receipts, andreconcile AR accounts regularly Assist with payroll tax reportingand compliance, ensuring adherence to federal, state, and locallaws. Assist with month-end and year-end close processes includingjournal entries and reconciliations Address payroll-relatedinquiries from employees and provide support on pay discrepancies,direct deposits, and tax forms. Generate and review payroll reportsfor accuracy and reconciliation with financial records. PreferredQualifications of the Payroll /

Accounting Specialist:

2 years ofpayroll processing experience Proficiency with Paylocity or similarpayroll software is required. Strong understanding of multi-statepayroll regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements.

Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Abilityto handle confidential information with discretion.
