The Accounting Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day operations of our accounting functions at our OneMonroe branch in Melbourne, FL. What You’ll Do:

As an Accounting Specialist , you’ll play a key role in keeping our financial operations running smoothly by owning our Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) functions. You’ll collaborate with team members across departments, help maintain strong vendor and customer relationships, and look for opportunities to streamline and improve along the way.

Your Day-to-Day May Include:

Accounts Payable Reviewing and processing vendor invoices with care and accuracy Ensuring timely, accurate payments via check, ACH, or wire Communicating with vendors to resolve billing issues with a kind and professional approach Organizing AP documentation and contributing to a smooth month-end close Accounts Receivable Recording incoming payments and applying them correctly to include processing credit cards and preparing bank deposits Following up on outstanding accounts with clarity and respect Answering customer questions with empathy and helpfulness Perform administrative and other tasks as needed

What You Bring:

2+ years of experience in accounts payable/receivable or general accounting Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, or similar) Strong attention to detail and organizational skills A positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow Comfort working independently and collaboratively Solid Excel skills and a knack for keeping things organized

Bonus Points For:

Experience with ERP systems. Current system in use- Quantum Control (Oracle based). Associate or Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field A sense of humor, curiosity, and a team-first mindset
