Job Description
Description We are looking for an organized Accounts Payable Clerk to join our client’s team in the Rockledge, FL area. In this long-term contract role, you will play a key part in managing employee expense reports and supporting accounts payable functions to ensure accurate and timely processing. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the financial operations of a dynamic company.
Responsibilities:
- Process and verify employee expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Accurately code and enter invoices into the accounting system.
- Handle vendor invoice processing and ensure timely payments.
- Maintain detailed and organized records of accounts payable transactions.
- Collaborate with team members to resolve discrepancies in expense reports or invoices.
- Assist in preparing reports related to accounts payable activities.
- Utilize Microsoft Excel for data entry and reconciliation tasks.
- Support audits by providing documentation and information related to expenses and invoices.
- Communicate effectively with employees and vendors to address inquiries or issues. Requirements
- Previous experience in accounts payable or a similar role.
- Proficiency in coding and processing invoices.
