Accounts Receivable Clerk 3.9 3.9 out of 5 stars Cocoa, FL 32926 We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in Cocoa, Florida. This Contract-to-long-term position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to essential financial operations and grow within the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounts receivable processes and demonstrate proficiency in managing billing, collections, and account reconciliations.

Responsibilities:

Process and manage accounts receivable transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies. Reconcile customer accounts to maintain up-to-date and accurate records. Handle billing tasks, including invoice preparation and distribution. Apply incoming cash payments to appropriate accounts and resolve discrepancies. Conduct commercial collections by following up on overdue accounts and ensuring timely payments. Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel to manage financial data. Perform data entry tasks with precision to maintain accurate financial records. Assist with cash applications and ensure proper allocation to customer accounts. Collaborate with internal teams to address client inquiries and resolve account issues. Generate reports and provide analysis to support financial decision-making. At least 1 year of experience in accounts receivable or a related financial role. Proficiency in account reconciliation, billing, and cash applications. Strong knowledge of commercial collections processes. Experience working with QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Good communication skills to interact with clients and internal teams. Familiarity with general accounting functions and financial reporting.
