AR/AP Clerk Position Available In Brevard, Florida

AR/AP Clerk Confidential Palm Bay, FL 32905 We are seeking an experienced AR/AP associate with a background in electronic manufacturing or contract manufacturing to provide accounting and clerical support to the controller. Candidates without prior experience in these industries will NOT be considered. This is a salaried position, and strong proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, is required. Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to): Preparing and maintaining account documents and records. Maintaining positive relations with vendors and responding to their inquiries. Communicating with vendors or departments regarding invoices and discrepancies. Verifying PO’s, receipts, and other supporting documentation for invoices. Preparing deposits, ledger postings, and statements. Reconciling accounts within a timely manner. Research and rectify accounting or documentation problems/discrepancies. Assist with month-end reconciliations. Filing. Will be trained on DBA, company processes and guidelines. May include other reasonable tasks as needed by the controller or senior management.

Requirements:

Associate’s degree, Bachelor’s degree preferred. 2 years’ AR and AP experience in an electronic manufacturing or contract manufacturing environment. Must have excellent computer skills using Microsoft Office with emphasis on Excel. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Positive attitude. Roll up your sleeve’s aptitude. English required, Bilingual (Spanish) a plus.

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. May be required to lift up to 25 lbs.
