Description
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement policies and procedures for accounts receivable to ensure compliance and efficiency.
Manage the accounts receivable team, providing training, support, and performance evaluations.
Monitor aging reports and oversee collection efforts for overdue accounts.
Analyze credit risk and establish credit limits for customers.
Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to resolve billing disputes and enhance customer satisfaction.
Prepare and present regular reports on the status of accounts receivable and cash flow forecasts to senior management.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within the accounts receivable function.
Ensure adherence to financial regulations and company policies.
Manage relationships with external collections agencies as needed.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in accounts receivable management
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
Certified Credit and Collection Manager (CCM), Certified Credit Professionals (CCP), or Certified Credit Executive (CCE) preferred
Several years of experience in accounts receivable or finance, with leadership experience.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments
